Just to say many thanks for a great course. I had a fantastic time. Disappointing to get back to grey, rainy old Exeter...(especially after 11 hr driving!) but good to be at home.

Thanks for an enjoyable and instructive course. The weather also helped in understanding the challenges and requirements of winter hill walking/mountaineering. The mix of humour and detail was very good, I will be spending time trawling the internet learning more about the differing types of snow/ice. Also investing in a bothy bag and new jacket. Looking forward also to further snowfalls to practice ice axe arrests.

Merlin    January 11th - 15th Cairngorm Course 2010

Last week was the best week I have had in the mountains for a long time. At times I was knackered, blinded, cold, hot, little bit scared but always happy. I achieved what I wanted - got my confidence back on snow and ice, and learned a lot a long the way. This is all due to two great instructors.

Just wanted to say I had a great time this week - I certainly learnt far more than I could have hoped, and had a great time too! Looking forward to being able to put some of my new skills into practice!
